UCAS CLEARING & CLEARING PLUS
The Clearing process from UCAS offers students the opportunity to apply for a university course late into the year. You can enter the Clearing process from 5th July right up until 17th October.
Whether you’re specifically looking for university in Bristol, a film degree course or just want to explore all your options, you will be able to secure a university place for this coming academic year.
There are lots of reasons why Clearing might be right for you.
If you are applying for university after original 30th of June deadline.
You have changed your mind about your course or no longer wish to accept the offers you have.
You didn’t meet the requirements of an offer you are holding and are looking for an alternative course.
Maybe you want to decline a firmed place and switch to a university closer to home - or after 18 months of largely being stuck at home - one that’s further away!
Whatever your circumstances, use the UCAS website to check the official vacancies list - not all courses offer places in clearing, but many will. Once you know which course or subject you want to pursue, get in touch with the university or colleges you are interested in. They will require some information from your UCAS Track in order to access your application details, and from there you can discuss your options with them.
